Call before you haul

Bids, hours and where to dump change through the year. They change fastest at harvest. One call to the elevator saves a wasted trip.

(701) 435-2451

Fax (701) 435-2214. Settlement sheets, contracts and paperwork can go by fax.

What the elevator does

Five lines of work, all run from Parker Street. Ask about any of them on the phone.

Grain handling

Trucks come in over the scale and dump. For what the elevator is taking this season, and today's bids, call the office.

Drying

Tough or wet grain can be dried here. Ask about moisture and drying charges before you load.

Storage

Grain can be stored at the elevator instead of sold off the truck. Storage terms are set by the office, so call for them.

Fertilizer

The elevator handles fertilizer as well as grain. For products, orders and pickup, call the same number.

Rail loading

Grain leaves Kensal by rail as well as by truck. Car orders, train timing and loading days change, so the elevator is the place to ask.

A small Stutsman County town on the Northern Plains. Wheat, durum, canola and sunflowers grow on the land around it.

Ask the elevator which crops it is buying before harvest starts.

Winter hauling

Winters here are long and the wind is big. Roads drift shut fast.

In a storm, call before you load. Check the elevator is open and the yard is clear before the truck leaves the farm.
